Now, I want you to close your eyes and picture a football coach. Okay, maybe keep your eyes open, this could get a bit difficult. Picture what you think the run-of-the-mill football coach would like. How did you piece them together? Did you draw inspiration from a vast array of improperly fitted “team” polos tucked into sweat pants; although the coach hasn’t used their “athletic” gear for any athletic feat since what they would describe as the “golden days.”

The city of El Paso and the borderland region have a palpable magnetism that can be expressed in a variety of ways. Our people are strong; the desert hardens us and demands us to fight for what we need. Desert people are unique in another way, we are also welcoming and kind. “Mi casa es su casa” is the mantra that lives in each and every one of us; we share bread, laughs, drinks and live boldly.
